Do you charge per item or per lot?
Never. Plans meter the drafting — the one thing that genuinely costs us money. Cataloging, labels, sale day, and settlements are never metered per item. Photograph a four-thousand-piece estate on any plan and the count never moves the meter.
Do you take a cut of the sale?
No. TagLot records money; it never processes it. No card fields, no processor, no percentage of the sale. Square and cash stay yours — the money goes straight to you and your consignor.
Does it work with no signal?
Yes, on every tier. Estate houses have dead WiFi, so capture, pricing, and sale-day lookup all run on the device with zero bars. Nothing about offline is gated behind a plan.
Can I get my data out?
Always. Export every item, sale, and settlement as JSON or CSV — free, on every tier, forever. It’s your catalog; leaving is a button, not a support ticket.
Will my price go up later?
Prices are flat and published on this page, and a change will never surprise you: existing customers get at least 30 days’ notice before a new price applies, changes never land mid-billing-period, and annual billing sets your rate for the full year. One published price per tier, the same for everyone — no launch discount that quietly steps up on you later.
What does the free plan actually include?
One full sale’s worth of work, no card and no countdown: 100 drafted items a month, one active sale, unwatermarked Avery labels, offline sale day, and the settlement statement (it carries a small “Prepared with TagLot” line). A real trial for a trade that runs one to four sales a month — not a two-week clock.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans cancel from Settings — no phone call, no retention script. Nothing is deleted: your account drops to Free and every item, sale, and settlement stays readable, editable, and exportable.
